Thursday is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. We will be livestreaming Ascension Thursday Mass at 5 pm on Wednesday May 20th. This Mass will be available for viewing through Ascension Thursday itself. The message of this Feast is clear. Jesus ascends to the Father and turns his work over to the Holy Spirit so that all people of all times can share in the salvation Christ has won for us. The period right after the Ascension is a novena of days leading up to the great Feast of Pentecost, the day the Church was born.
