Do you love to sing? Have you ever thought about joining our Parish Choir? HERE IS YOUR CHANCE!!! The Parish Choir welcomes all parishioners who have a desire to share their musical gifts with the parish community. The ability to read music is a plus, but certainly not necessary! Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:15-9:00PM in church, beginning on Thursday, September 21st. Now is a great time to join! All voice types are welcome, and we are in particular need of tenors and basses. For more information, please contact Don Holdren at 215-920- 2385 or donholdren@gmail.com
In the Church, most of the plumbing work is complete, with the balance to be done next week. Then comes the painters and finishing work like partitions and such. The "storefront" windows and door for the Narthex addition arrived and are in place and the epoxy terrazzo flooring should go down very soon. Once that floor is in, we can get a Certificate of Occupancy to reopen the space for full use. We hope that this will happen within 3 weeks. On the Community Center side of the campus, plumbers have set the below ground pipes within the building footprint and the electrician will do similar work during next week. Once that work is done, then the concrete slab goes down in two parts and the steel of the building will begin going up in October. Meanwhile, we still have fundraising to do: There are brochures and pledge cards at the doors of the Church. If you have not yet joined us with your three-year pledge, please take a card & envelope and drop the completed pledge card off in the Parish Office mail slot. You may also click the box below for an online pledge. Thank you for your interest in the future of St. Christopher Parish! We have special ways of recognizing larger pledges. Call Deacon Jim to discuss the possibilities. Please also remember St. Christopher in your end of year giving decisions.
