The primary mission of serving God by serving the Catholic Church is achieved in the Charismatic Prayer Group. There are prayers of healing, great love, many gifts of the Spirit, including the gift of a warm reception to any member of the parish wanting to come.

If you are married, practicing Catholics and are willing to help prepare couples for the Sacrament of Marriage, please consider joining the Pre Cana Team. Ours is a one-day (Saturday) program that we offer in the Spring and the Fall. For information, please contact Deacon Jim at the Parish Office.
Eucharistic Adoration is visiting and spending time in quiet prayer with Jesus in the Eucharist. It is an expression of our love for Jesus, who loves us so much that He never wants to leave us and stays with us in the Blessed Sacrament. Nobel Peace Prize winner, Saint Teresa of Calcutta said,
“I would not be able to work one week if it were not for the continual force coming from Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.”
Saint Teresa attributed her many charitable works to her daily Holy Hour of prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, in our Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Entrance to the chapel is the second door to the left of our school’s main entrance. You will need to key in the code number followed by the star.
Please contact the parish office for the code number. For the sake of security, we are refraining putting the code number in written form.
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process designed for adults who are coming to the Catholic faith from another faith tradition, have been baptized in the Catholic faith, but have not received any other Sacraments, or have not been baptized in any particular faith tradition.
The RCIA process allows you to journey through the full liturgical year and the timeline can vary from person to person as to the readiness of reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil.
To learn more, please contact Deacon Jim O'Neill at the Parish Office.
Our Gospel Reflection group is a one hour weekly gathering, where a universal Gospel reading is read. After a brief moment of reflection, a spontaneous sharing of how this Gospel reading impacted the participants hearts, relative to their lives today, occurs.
This is NOT a Bible study. The facilitator of the group merely acts as the coordinator of the prayers and the hour, but does not teach. Participants open up and share their response to the Gospel reading, if they choose to. Real life stories, struggles and events are usually shared as the Holy Spirit inspires each individual.
St. Christopher's Men's Reflection Group meets Thursday evenings at 7pm in the Parish Meeting Room next door to the School Library.
As young families come forward desiring to have their children baptized, St. Christopher's welcomes them into our faith family. Baptisimal Preparation Teams will assist in the preparation of the families for the celebration of the Sacrament with an evening of class.
The members of this team are here to help in the formation of the parents and godparents of the children who are about to be baptized. More than introducing the Rite of Baptism to the parents and godparents, this team also reinforces the faith of the family so that they can truly and faithfully hand the faith that we all share to the one who is about to be welcomed into our family of faith.
For inquiries and/or desire to join this team, please contact the Parish Office.
